Super Money Grid attempts to take advantage of the natural motion of the market placing buy and sell orders at the same time. This strategy requires no forecasting of market direction. Once you start the expert advisor, it places 1 sell order and 1 buy order. Then, it will use grid_size, take_profit and money management settings to place additional orders or close them. Grid trading is a high profitable/high risk strategy.

INSTALLATION

 

1. Shutdown your Metatrader platform

2. Copy the expert advisor file into the /experts folder of your Metatrader software (Example: C:\Program Files/MetaTrader4/experts)

 

SETTINGS MANUAL

 

grid_size: expert advisor will use this data in order to know when to place new orders

take_profit: money management system takes this, minimum_lots and progression to calculate "take profit" in dollars

profit_lock: from 0.5 (50%) to 0.9 (90%). This is the profit locked once you reach take profit.

min_lots: minimum lots for your orders. The EA will take min_lots as the minimum unit.

account_risk: it is a percentage. The ea will close all orders when you exceeed the account risk.

progression: 0 no progression, 1 D'Alembert , 2: Martingale

unbalance_control: 0 unbalance control disabled, 1 unbalance control enabled. If the market has a long trend and you are using a progression you would have many "big" opened orders against the trend and only 1 "min_lots" order with the trend. If you enable unbalance control the ea will increase volume of orders following the trend.

 

BACKTESTS

 

You can see results from 6 different backtests below. First 5 backtests use same pair (GBPUSD), same settings, but different money management configuration. In the sixth backtest we use different settings and a different pair (EURGBP) to show you how powerful and risky is grid trading.

• Backtest 2: grid_size=60, take_proft=65, progression=1, min_lots=0.1, unbalance_control=0
• Backtest 3: grid_size=60, take_proft=65, progression=1, min_lots=0.1, unbalance_control=1
• Backtest 4: grid_size=60, take_proft=65, progression=2, min_lots=0.1, unbalance_control=0
• Backtest 5: grid_size=60, take_proft=65, progression=2, min_lots=0.1, unbalance_control=1
• Backtest 6: grid_size=10, take_proft=10, progression=0, min_lots=0.1
